Women’s Movement captures the zeitgeist of 2018 and the resurgence of women’s movements across the globe, as women rise up, speak out and are heard while still going about their everyday activities, preoccupied with everyday concerns.
Frances Featherstone has a First CLass Honours Degree in Fine Art from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
Already 2019 has started well for Frances, her painting ‘Piccadilly’ has been selected by ‘Artists & Illustrators’ Magazine as part of the ‘Artists of the Year 2019’, exhibition at The Mall Galleries, London 25th February to 2nd March 2019.
At the end of 2018 she was shortlisted for Jackson’s Emerging Artist Prize by the Jackson’s judging Panel with 29 other artists out of over 1300 entries:
She was Pre-Selected for Society of Women’s artists Exhibition at the Mall Galleries London 2018.
She exhibited 2 paintings at The Espacio Gallery, 6-11 March, 2018 for Women’s International Day.
Shortlisted for The Royal Society of Portraiture at The Mall Galleries, London.
She was selected with 26 other artists for the Art Gemini Prize Finalist Exhibition at Asia House, London:
